Viking Consultancy Services (VCS) is a new company that will rely on the
proven skills of its founding employee to take advantage of the growing need
for quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management
system consultancy services in Singapore and its neighbouring countries.
Roy V. Jones, who brings 37 years of industrial experience and expertise to the
business, will lead the company as it establishes itself as a high quality service
provider in the region. VCS was initially set up to provide services to
establishing ISO 9001: 2000 and API Q1 7th edition compliant Quality Management
Systems and compliance conversion of existing ISO 9001/2: 1994 systems. Now,
VCS also offers services related to the establishment of Environmental Management
Systems to ISO 14000 and Occupational Health and Safety in compliance with OHSAS 18001
or its eventual successor.

Constantly changing economic conditions offers a small business an opportunity to
work smarter by limiting its exposure to substantial capital investment risks.
Extensive local market contact over the last 12 months establishes that there is
a growing market demand for competitively priced management system consultancy
services. VCS is in a position to capture a significant portion of this market.

VCS will differentiate itself from its competitors (generally larger firms) by
establishing a reputation for providing consistently high standard and reliable
services at competitive pricing. By selectively concentrating on a few key industrial
sectors, VCS will gain access to a large segment of a niche market. This tightly
focused approach also makes it easier for VCS to establish and retain a reputation
as a reliable service provider.
