Viking Instrumentation Pte Ltd (VI), part of the Viking Group of Companies, was initially set up as a department within the parent company, Viking Engineering. However, in line with business growth and taking on more complex assignments, the company was registered as a subsidiary in 1985.

Viking Instrumentation is headed by Mr Fred Kho and employs some 12 skilled engineers and technicians. The company is located within the premises of Viking Engineering, however, the contact numbers and e-mail address are different.

Viking Instrumentation provides services to a broad range of equipment, a major portion of which is related to the agencies carried by Viking Engineering. In general, but not limited to what is below listed, the company provides,

Turn key project works, which includes design, engineering, fabrication, installation and commissioning, from the most simple to the very complex equipment or control system

- Design and fabrication of instrumentation for Conveyor belt systems

• TQ Environmental Plc, a UK domiciled company that provides "Total Solutions" within the field of Gas Detection and Monitoring
• Ariston Norway, specializing in Pressure Sensor Tank Level Gauging, Liquid Cargo Temperature Monitoring and Control Systems and Bulk Carrier Cargo Hold Water Ingress Alarm Systems
